CHILE
In Chile, there are numerous ideal destinations for skiing. In the Central Zone, some of the most prominent ski resorts include Valle Nevado, La Parva, El Colorado, and Nevados de Chillán. These resorts have well-maintained facilities, offer skiing lessons, and provide equipment rental. Additionally, Valle Nevado and El Colorado are equipped with machines to generate artificial snow, ensuring a quality experience even in changing weather conditions.
VALLE NEVADO
VALLE NEVADO
Valle Nevado, the largest ski resort in South America, is located 46 km from Santiago, Chile, in the Andes Mountains. Inaugurated in 1988, this resort stands out for its excellent snow and weather, with 80% of clear days during the season.
Since its opening, it has improved its infrastructure with innovations such as the Andes Express and new slopes. In 2010, it expanded its facilities, establishing itself as a top destination.
It has hosted the Snowboard World Cup since 2003 and is close to other ski resorts like La Parva and El Colorado, forming «The Three Valleys of the Andes.» Valle Nevado offers three high-end hotels, apartments, restaurants, and 9,300 hectares of skiable terrain, with more than 37 km of slopes.
Activities include skiing, snowboarding, heli-skiing, and a snow school with 50 instructors. The resort is accessible from Santiago and operates from June to October, making it ideal for both winter and summer.

EL COLORADO
EL COLORADO
The El Colorado Ski Resort, located 36 km from Santiago, is one of the most important in South America. Founded in 1935, it started with a refuge in Farellones and, over the years, has grown with new facilities such as ski lifts and slopes. Today, it has 1,100 hectares of skiable terrain and an altitude that exceeds 3,300 meters, offering one of the best skiing experiences in the region.
Ideal for families and young people, El Colorado offers a wide variety of services, including accommodations, dining, and activities for both beginners and experts. It also has 70 slopes and 40 km of skiable terrain, with optimal snow conditions thanks to its high-altitude location.
The resort is easily accessible from Santiago and provides services such as equipment rentals, ski lessons, and an international restaurant. It also features the Parador, which centralizes all services for visitors.

LA PARVA
LA PARVA
Located 50 km from Santiago, in the Andes Mountains, La Parva is a prominent ski resort at an elevation of 2,750 meters. It offers stunning views of the Santiago Valley and first-class infrastructure, ideal for skiing, snowboarding, and heliskiing. With 38 km of slopes and 14 ski lifts, including quad chairs, it is a popular destination among skiers from all over the world.
La Parva also has a ski club that trains national competitors, and its ski school offers lessons for all ages. Visitors can enjoy various restaurants, bars, and services such as accommodation, transportation, and cafes on the premises.
Access: It is reached via the Farellones Road, with specific times for ascending and descending.

Nevados de Chillán is an impressive ski resort located in the heart of the Andes Mountains, just 82 kilometers from Chillán. This resort is surrounded by lush native forests and offers a unique experience for nature lovers and winter sports enthusiasts. In winter, international-quality ski slopes are combined with volcanic hot springs to create an environment of relaxation and adventure.
